Twin Hooks: Two Heroes, One Fight

Twin Hooks is built around a simple, irresistible promise - everything is better together. The game pairs two heroes in a 2-player co-op action brawler where teamwork is the core mechanic. By day the city is warm and wholesome; by night it mutates into a dangerous battleground that only the two of you can hold back. Play online with a friend or go it alone and still feel the push toward cooperative solutions baked into every system.

Combat is designed to make two players feel like a single, more dangerous unit. Grappling hooks double as weapons and traversal tools. You will swing, launch, and chain enemies into the sky before landing coordinated finishers that read like choreographed stunts. Outside combat there is shopping, crafting, decoration, fishing, and low-key moments that give the day side of the city its charm.

Fight as One

Twin Hooks leans into team chemistry. Combat is fast and street-wuxia inspired, focused on cooperative interactions - shared juggles that keep enemies airborne, launch combos that require a partner's timing, and synchronized takedowns that only two players can execute. Weapon styles feel distinct, and pairing them with your partner opens creative combo windows that single players cannot replicate.

The core loop rewards experimentation. Try different hook-assisted aerial routes, chain attacks through the environment, and finish encounters with a coordinated flourish. Even when you play solo the systems encourage two-handed thinking - you're still able to perform many tricks alone, but the optimal, most spectacular moves are for pairs.

Turn the City Into a Weapon

Your surroundings are a tool. Posts, ledges, rails, market stalls - Twin Hooks encourages you to use them in combat and traversal. Grapple off city fixtures to close distance, swing through alleys to reposition, and combine movement with attacks for aerial dominance. One hero can launch an enemy skyward while the other follows up with a high-flying finisher.

That environmental interplay makes encounters feel inventive rather than rote. The city is not just a backdrop - it is part of your kit and a playground for coordinated stunts.

Customize Your Fighting Style

Loot, shops, and crafting let you tailor how you fight. Find powerful weapons, upgrade gear, and collect unique items that alter combat behavior. At launch you can create your own characters alongside your partner, then experiment with loadouts that emphasize swing, grapple, range, or heavy hits.

Progression scales missions and enemies as you level, so gear and upgrades matter across runs. The systems emphasize choice - try a crazy combo of equipment and see how it changes your shared playstyle.

A City With Two Faces

By day the pace softens. You can fish, visit shops, decorate a home you're building together, and peel back stories about the people you protect. Night missions flip the switch - enemies grow tougher, challenges sharpen, and bosses await players who want to push deeper. You choose the tone of each session: cozy or relentless.

Built for Co-Op

Twin Hooks supports online co-op with a friend or solo play at your own pace. Combat is crafted so that certain shared maneuvers and finishers only unlock when two players work in tandem. Couch co-op and cross play on all platforms are planned for launch, keeping the focus on accessible, shared fun.

Grab a partner. Grab your hooks. The city needs both of you.
