Rescue – DragonSword: Awakening Walkthrough
Enter through the opening to reach the prison area, where eight Ghouls immediately ambush the party. Defeat them all before approaching the prison barrier.
The prisoners are trapped behind a magical barrier controlled by a three-part switch puzzle. Each rotating switch displays a different symbol, and all three must be set to the correct signs to disable the barrier.
Prison Barrier Puzzle Solution
Return to the laboratory and look carefully around the room. The correct symbols can be found on the walls and ceiling, providing the solution for each of the three prison switches.
Use the screenshots below to match the symbols with the correct switches.
Then return to the prison and rotate each switch until it displays the corresponding symbol.
Once all three symbols are correctly positioned, the barriers will disappear. Speak with the rescued prisoners, who will thank the party for freeing them.
Unfortunately, the resulting explosion attracts 12 more Ghouls. Defeat them and speak with the prisoners again. They explain that the Ghouls in the temple's deepest chamber were once human and ask the party to save them if possible. As a healer, Lute agrees to try.
Roxy and Alex then leave to escort the rescued prisoners safely back to Orbis Kingdom. Before departing, the prisoners warn the group to remain cautious—the Dragon Worshippers are keeping a dangerous monster in the deepest chamber.
With the prisoners and the Red Fox Mercenaries safely on their way, the “Rescue” quest comes to an end.
