Rogue Fortune - When Greed Becomes a Gameplay Loop

You dive into the Well of Eternal Riches because you cannot resist the sparkle. The Well answers by testing every inch of your skill and appetite. Rogue Fortune is a fast-paced action roguelite where survival means building ever stronger synergies from strange geometrical Relics, and deciding how much of your fortune you will gamble to live a little longer.

Combat is relentless. Every dodge, strike and ability matters because the temple adapts. Rooms, traps and enemies escalate as you push deeper, forcing fast adaptation and brutal choices. Learn quickly or pay the cost.

Relics That Make and Break Runs

Relics are the game's central hook. Each is a geometrically shaped power-up that can be slotted and rearranged to create amplifying effects and chain reactions. Move a single Relic and your whole build can blossom or fall apart. That creates a satisfying push and pull between experimentation and careful planning.

You are encouraged to try wild combinations. Some Relics boost neighboring effects, others trigger cascades when paired correctly. The excitement comes from discovering interactions that let you cut through hordes of monsters in a single, glorious moment.

Combat, Sacrifice and Escalating Threats

Rogue Fortune pairs fast, focused combat with a reputation system of sorts: the more you try to keep, the more the temple pushes back. The Well grows wise to attempts to flee with treasure, changing layouts and sending tougher challenges your way. That escalation is the game's primary tension.

A constant question hangs over each run. Will you spend your fortune to improve your immediate chances, stash it to protect your haul, or gamble it all in pursuit of a devastating comeback? Each choice reshapes future attempts and can make your next run markedly different.

Multiple Hopefuls, Different Playstyles

You embody a roster of desperate hopefuls, each with unique strengths and flaws. A Relic that was useless for one character might be the cornerstone of another's build. That variety rewards replay and keeps the meta fresh, since no two paths through the Well will ever be the same.

The structure nudges players toward experimentation. Overlooked Relics in one run can become the linchpin in the next, depending on who you bring down the Well and how you rearrange the pieces.

Development and How to Stay Close
