Baltic Battalion Reinforcements Join Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow's first specialization DLC adds a new way to play the U.S. faction. The Baltic Battalion represents the combined forces of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and brings European weaponry, modern infantry formations and vehicles designed for layered defense, mobility and fast reaction fights. The result is a flexible toolbox that lets you blend Baltic units with your American forces for fresh combined arms options.

What the Baltic Battalion Adds

This DLC focuses on interoperability and tactical breadth rather than a single gimmick. Highlights include:

  • One new army specialization for the U.S. faction, themed around the Baltic states
  • 23 new infantry units drawn from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia
  • 25 vehicles and aircraft added to the motor pool, 19 of them unique models
  • One new map, an AI preset, and a solo co op scenario that lets you test the Baltic units in action

A core design point is the infantry specialization system. Each infantry role offers choices from the three nations, so you can mix Latvian adaptability, Lithuanian firepower and Estonian technology inside the same battalion to suit recon heavy, mechanized or anti air focused tactics.

Vehicles, Aircraft and Support Assets

The Baltic Battalion expands the pool across transports, IFVs, MBTs, artillery and air assets. Notable entries from the list include:

  • Main battle tanks and IFVs such as Leopard 2A8, CV 9035 and IFV Vilkas
  • Artillery systems including PzH 2000, K9 Kõu and M109A5Ö, plus the M113 Panzermörser mortar carrier
  • Air defence like Iris T SLM and NASAMS, plus mixed short range systems such as Unimog ZU 23 Mistral
  • Air mobility and strike options with UH 60M Blackhawk, AS 365 Dauphin and L 39 Albatros
  • Logistics and light utility with vehicles such as C 27J Spartan, Unimog and E13TP

Overall the vehicle list supports mobility focused combined arms play, with options for rapid reaction, mechanized pushes and area denial.

Recon and Infantry Specializations

Recon and infantry are a major focus. The DLC splits roles across reconnaissance, mechanized infantry, volunteers and elites, so each slot feels distinct.

Reconnaissance and combat recon

  • Scimitar, Spartan, TGB 1111 and Wolf WMIK for vehicle scouting
  • Jegeris from Lithuania, Eesti Scouts from Estonia and Latvian SUVs for dismounted combat recon

Infiltrators and snipers

  • KNT, Snaiprid and Snaiperu Komanda provide stealth and long range precision

Mechanized and volunteer formations

  • Jalaväe Jagu, Geležinis Vilkas and Mehanizētie Kājinieki for mechanized infantry doctrine
  • Kaitseliit, KASP and Zemessardze as volunteer forces that bring different manpower and equipment mixes

Special forces and heavy teams

  • ESTSOF and Žaliukai for special ops tasks
  • Anti tank teams armed with Milan, Javelin and Spike LR
  • Anti aircraft squads using Grom, Piorun and RBS 70
  • Heavy weapons options include M2 Browning and GMG configurations

These options let you tailor battalions toward scouts and skirmishers, mobile anti tank screens or tech heavy firepower groups.

Tactical Impact

Baltic Battalion is about choice and interoperability. If you prefer nimble scouts, precise anti tank work or heavy European artillery in support of U.S. maneuver elements, this specialization offers concrete tools. The solo co op scenario and the AI preset give players immediate ways to try mixed formations and experiment with how Baltic doctrine complements American assets.

If your Broken Arrow loadouts felt familiar, the Baltic Battalion should open several new tactical angles without forcing a radical playstyle change.
