Ship upgrades play a clear role. Better parts let you push farther into dangerous routes and carry more cargo back for the Caravan. The upgrade loop feels purpose driven because each newly accessible route can open side objectives, rescued supplies, and new NPC encounters.

Grapple and Solve

This is where Compass leans into VR's strengths. You will frequently step out of the cockpit and use hand grapples to swing through broken structures, climb towers, and manipulate environmental puzzles. Those grapples are not just traversal tools.
