Shipolis Demo Sails into Cozy City Building

Shipolis is a minimalist city builder wrapped in a nautical theme. In the demo you pilot a ship across archipelagos, develop cities at predetermined tiles, and stitch together production lines that keep your settlements growing. The presentation leans on colorful, cute 3D pixel art with a top down perspective and dynamic lighting that makes every island feel inviting.

Sail, Explore, and Expand

The demo gives you three regions to explore, each with its own look and set of natural resources. Worlds are procedurally generated so each run feels different. As you chart the seas you will find lush forests, frozen lands, sand deserts, rock plateaus, and more. Exploration ties directly into progression because resources and building opportunities shift from region to region.

Visually Shipolis keeps things simple and readable. The camera perspective and lighting help you spot resource nodes and planned city locations while still feeling cozy and approachable.

Build Cities and Production Lines

Cities in Shipolis are placed at predetermined spots and constructed tile by tile. You have more than 60 buildings to choose from and over 30 resources to collect or craft. Population matters. Grow enough workers to fuel production chains that turn raw materials into advanced components.

The game encourages careful tile planning. Adjacency bonuses matter and buildings can be upgraded into more powerful variants. Because building space is limited you will make tradeoffs and design compact, efficient layouts. The gameplay loop is gentle but strategic, rewarding planning and forward thinking.

Automate Trade and Watch Your World Tick

A big part of the demo is logistics. You can set up export routes to automate transport of goods across the map and supply routes to keep construction and production moving. Ships and cities maintain inventories and automatically transfer items so resources appear where they are needed.

Watching resources flow along routes is satisfying in a tactile way. Automation lets you focus on expansion and puzzle like placement instead of manual micro management.

Cozy Progression, Quests, and Wonders

Progression in the demo is paced by quests. There are more than 25 quests included that guide your early decisions and introduce mechanics. You can upgrade your ship and trading routes, complete treasure hunts, play small side minigames, and find journal notes that hint at the world lore.

The demo runs about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours to discover all the included content. The main goals include building great wonders in each region while enjoying a flexible, relaxed pace that is ideal for players who like creativity and strategy without stress.
