Garuda Emblem Makes Your Campus a Punch-First, Ask-Questions-Later Playground

UNION, the University of Rungeon, is supposed to be a place of study and tech wizardry. Instead it has turned into a battleground. Garuda Emblem drops you into day one of a campus conspiracy as Farid, or with Rani if you prefer double trouble. Thugs have barged in, rules are out the window, and the only syllabus left is how to throw a better combo.

This is a hardcore hand-drawn brawler that leans on street sensibilities. Steal a trash can, swing a mop, or just use your fists. The game promises fast, visceral fights where the environment becomes your arsenal and the meter in the corner determines how monstrous you can go.

Chinatown Stage Arrives: Lion Dance Meets Leather Jackets

The developers teased a fresh chapter called Chinatown, and it sounds like a proper spectacle. Expect Eastern atmosphere fused with a brutal Lion Dance-theme that blends traditional movement with hard-hitting martial arts. The announcement calls it a lethal fusion meant to dominate the battlefield, so look out for flashy choreography and stage-specific flair.

Players interested in early access are invited to follow the instructions in the test announcement to join the official community and claim beta access. The team is actively running tests, so community channels are the way in.

Fight Like It's Finals Week: Combat and Mechanics

Garuda Emblem centers on a Dynamic Combo system built to reward variety and timing. You build a meter, unleash the "beast", and clean up groups of enemies with flashy knockouts. There are skills to learn in combat, a progression loop that lets you develop both Farid and Rani, and an emphasis on using surroundings to your advantage.

No rules means full environmental interaction. Anything that is not bolted down is potentially a weapon, and that includes the lowliest trash can. That encourages improvised tactics rather than rigid, canned combos. Expect juggles, crowd control, and hard-hitting finishers.

Controller support is noted for Xbox controllers and most generic USB joysticks, so plug-and-play co-op should be straightforward for couch sessions.

Two's a Riot: Co-op and Modes

Garuda Emblem offers both Single Player Story Mode and Multiplayer Arcade Co-op Mode. Play solo and follow the campus conspiracy, or tag in a friend and turn lecture halls into a total riot. The co-op option sounds designed for chaos, with the simple mission of kicking ass and taking names whether you are grinding alone or smashing skulls with a buddy.

Character choice matters. Farid or Rani bring different styles to the fight and you can mix-and-match skills and equipment as you progress.

Hand-Drawn Mayhem and Progression

Visually, the game leans into hand-drawn sprites for characters, environments, effects, and animation. That aesthetic promises clear, readable action with a stylized punch. Features listed include a day-night cycle, side quests and mini games, and more areas and enemies to explore as you dig into the campus mystery.

Progression elements are present too: learn new abilities from fights, invest in skill trees, and customize equipment to shape your playstyle. The overall package is pitched toward players who like beat-em-ups with growth systems and a bit of world-building to poke around.

How to Join the Beta and Controls

If you want early access, follow the developer's test announcement and join their official community as instructed to grab beta access. The team is using community tests to refine the stages and combat.

And remember: whether you bring a friend or go it alone, the hallways of UNION are short on rules and long on opportunities to improvise. Gear up, build that meter, and let your fists do the talking.
