Everything is engineered around your nest. You can experiment with combinations to favour swarms of fast workers, hardy soldiers, or unusual mixes that produce rare, powerful outliers. The design loop rewards curiosity: small changes in pheromone balance or chamber layout can radically alter your surface composition.
Send forth the swarm and manage the battle
When your nest is calibrated, it is time to erupt. Deploy waves of ants from the hill and assign them roles: workers to gather food, soldiers to hold the line, and champions to tip the scales when needed. The game frames combat as flow control. A single ant is expendable, but the colony is not.
