HUNTED Lets You Survive Together or Hunt Your Friends in a Haunted Hospital

HUNTED wears its intent on its sleeve. This is a competitive co-op horror game built around one brutal choice. Stick with your friends to search a haunted hospital for Black Matter and complete ten purges. Or be the nightmare in the halls by playing as The Lady, stalking survivors and tearing the match apart.

Matches support one to five players. In PvP one player becomes The Lady while up to four survivors scramble to extract, purge, and survive. There is a built in tension to every decision. Split up to cover more ground, or stay close and hope your teamwork outpaces the terror.

Extract. Purge. Survive.

Gameplay is straightforward and purpose driven. Search wards for keys and syringes, extract Black Matter, and carry it back to a purge station. Finish ten purges to win the round.

Extraction points are active in different locations and shift as you clear them, forcing teams to keep moving through the hospital. That forward momentum is deadly because every completed purge also strengthens The Lady. Progress helps you win, but it makes the monster faster and more dangerous.

Reviving teammates is part of the loop. A knocked player is not necessarily out of the game. Stop and pull someone up, or risk losing them to the escalating hunger inside the hospital.

Play as The Lady or the Survivors

The Lady is a stalking predator. As the monster you follow footsteps and disturbances survivors leave behind to build Dread. Keeping survivors in sight or catching several together accelerates that meter. You cannot attack while passive. When Dread is high you can flip into Enrage to close the distance and strike before teammates can react.

Survivors have tools and tactics. Use your radio to slow and stun an Enraged Lady, break her line of sight, and manage your battery so you do not run out of options at a bad moment. Teamwork matters. Force the Lady to waste her burst, then punish her when she overextends.

The Lady's Children are another hazard. These smaller entities wander the wards, chase survivors, and grow more numerous as the match moves on. Survivors can banish them by holding their radio on them, but the Children are also attracted to Black Matter. Leave a filled syringe on the floor and a Child can drink from it, consuming your resource and leaving only an empty syringe behind. That adds resource denial to the frantic back and forth.

Perks, Loadouts, and Playstyles

Progression is match based. Earn XP, level up, and unlock perks for both survivors and The Lady. Each role has its own loadout and you can equip up to three perks at a time. That opens room for experimentation. Build for stealthy movement, sharper tracking, stronger defenses, or aggressive stalking depending on whether you want to survive or terrorize.

Switch sides and change builds to counter your friends. Learn their habits, test different perk combinations, and see which tactics break the group dynamic. The system looks tuned to reward both mechanical skill and social reading of teammates.

Tension by Design

HUNTED's pitch is simple but effective. The tug of war between extraction progress and monster escalation creates a steady climb in stakes. Survivors must balance speed with caution, resource management with rescue attempts, and the lure of completing a purge with the risk of empowering The Lady.

Whether you end up playing guardian or predator, the match structure promises moments of frantic teamwork and sharp, personal betrayals. If you like horror that turns friends into prey and trust into a dangerous commodity, HUNTED looks built to deliver.
