Astral Bloom
Astral Bloom is a compact, sci-fi incremental builder that asks you to turn a single lonely tile in the void into a thriving alien sanctuary. Runs last roughly 10 to 20 minutes, but the game layers progression so every attempt can feel meaningful — you cultivate strange plants, unlock new tiles and buildings, then come back stronger.
Transform a Barren Void into Life
You begin on one tile of emptiness and expand outward, planting exotic flora that produce resources and shape the way your little world behaves. Harvest those resources to unlock new structures and lifeforms, and use rebirth to carry permanent upgrades that reshape future runs. The loop is straightforward and approachable, built around short, satisfying runs with lasting progression between attempts.
Grow, Gather, Expand
Automation is central. Recruit wisps to gather for you, and upgrade them so they work faster and bring back better loot. Wisps come in tiers ranging from Common to Legendary, which changes how efficiently they support your ecosystem. Each run also offers planet mutators and upgrade choices that push you toward different playstyles, and unlocking new tile types changes what spawns on your world. The result is a tidy incremental experience with plenty of small decisions to optimize.
Customize Your Explorer and Make Wishes
Exploration matters too. Discover scattered monoliths to unlock cosmetics for your explorer — hats and color options let you personalize the avatar of your sanctuary. More importantly, you pick wishes that alter how the planet grows. Wishes and abilities such as shifting between day and night grant tactical bonuses and force you to adapt your strategy as the environment evolves.
Uncover Memories, Then Decide
Throughout runs you gather fragments of a forgotten past. As your sanctuary comes together, those pieces form a story, and at the end you face a clear choice: remain on the planet you cultivated or leave in search of something lost among the stars. Astral Bloom keeps its scope modest but offers an appealing blend of automation, short-form design, and a final decision that gives weight to your repeated creations.
