the moon is a gun Puts the Moon in Charge of Planet Defense

You are the gun built into the moon. The moon orbits automatically; you aim, fire and switch weapons while gravity bends every shot into surprising new arcs. Wave after wave of enemies threaten the cities below, and your job is to curve, ricochet and outthink them until dawn.

The premise is gloriously simple and mechanically rich. Each night you choose your threats and the rewards you want to fight for. Survive the waves, take down bosses, and spend fragments to strengthen your guns, abilities and repairs before the next night. Take on tougher nights for rarer loot or play it safe to grind credits and unlock permanent gear.

How It Feels to Play

Orbiting is automatic, so your focus is pure aiming and decision making. Shots obey gravity, which means trajectories are less about straight lines and more about planning arcs around the planet. You will send projectiles that curve back into crowds, skim past obstacles, or wrap around the globe to catch enemies off guard.

Combat is about adapting on the fly. Switch between more than 10 weapons that fundamentally change how you handle threats. Some weapons encourage close, rapid fire. Others are about timing and geometry. Add an active ability to the mix and the moon becomes a versatile battlefield tool rather than a single-purpose turret.

Weapons, Builds and Abilities

Experimentation is central. The game offers 10-plus weapons with distinct behaviors. Examples include sending comets into orbit, drilling through the planet, or throwing an axe that can slice through a crowd and return on a boomerang path. Weapon upgrades improve a single gun, while loop-style upgrades affect your whole loadout.

There are 100-plus upgrades, abilities and power-ups to shape builds. You can stack effects that feed each other - turn kills into chain reactions, pull enemies into one another, or freeze nearby foes after a weapon kill. Active abilities shift the tactical layer further: fire a planetary beam, open wormholes for repositioning, rewind a mistake, or summon a second moon to mirror your attacks.

Between Nights - Choices, the Smuggler and Rewards

Nights are selectable. You choose which upcoming night to tackle, which threats to accept, and which reward to pursue. Harder nights offer better prizes at a greater cost - heavier gravity, a shifted orbit, or denser enemy waves.

Radio encounters add narrative and meaningful dilemmas. A district might ask you to melt down a generator to fuel your gun. Help them and you pay dearly in local infrastructure, but you might gain the edge you need for the next fight. Not every call pays off, and these choices can shape how your run unfolds.

If you like higher-risk, higher-reward mechanics, you can also deal with the Smuggler. He offers side contracts - take on armored enemies, protect cargo, or bet on keeping every city alive until dawn for extra pay. Those deals change the flow of a run and test whether your build can handle specialized challenges.

Enemies, Bosses and Threat Variety

O combate exige tanto mira minuciosa quanto planejamento macro.
